Where am I today?

Molly Brown

Today we had this wonderful guest speaker come and talk to our class!  Not only did she dress up but she spoke in an accent when "in character" and was an amazing (kid-friendly) story teller.  She held their attention for 60, I repeat, 60 MINUTES!  Holy cow.  It was spectacular.  And when it was Q & A time at the end, all of my 4th graders kept wanting to tell her how much they loved hearing her talk and how much fun they had with her.  Too stinkin' cute. 

Dressed as Molly Brown, our guest taught us all about the "Unsinkable Molly Brown"! 

What a great way to meet the standards, engage the students and pass the time on a Thursday afternoon... before Thanksgiving.  Calmed the insanity a little but.  Alleluia!
