A Grade-In??
Have you been involved in a Grade-In? I saw this today in the news and just had to share. Some teachers across the nation have taken to hosting "Grade-Ins" where they gather in a public place and work. The goal is to show how much extra work teachers take home. All professions need to work outside of their jobs, but sometimes people dismiss how hard teachers work. This is a unique way of showing how time consuming our jobs are.
Now if only they could see how hard we work outside of grading and lesson planning, as well! Thank goodness we all love our professions :)

I hadn't heard of this! What a great way to show the public how hard we work and how many hours we put in outside of school!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that crazy, Jamie?! I thought it was a really cool idea. Please let me know if you hear any more about something like this!
